How to maintain a Door Lock Switch on 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The first thing to do when servicing the power door lock switch is to break and separate the negative battery cable. After that, take out the front door trim and separate the wires from the door lock switch. With two attaching screws loosened, pull out the switch from the panel trim. To install, set the switch back into the trim panel and attach it with the two provided screws. Connect the wire connector to the door lock switch again, put the front door trim panel back and plug the negative battery cable.
