How to Remove and Replace Control Arm Bushing on 2005 Chrysler Sebring?

Before you can access and change the isolator bushings, your lower control arm should be removed from the car. Let's start by removing the lower control arm assembly. Using Special Tool C-4212-F, put Bushing Receiver, Special Tool MB-990799 on the lower control arm, making sure it's square as you do so. After that, insert Bushing Remover, Special Tool 6602-5, into the isolator bushing on the Muffler Combo Assembly. After that, tighten the screw on Remover/Installer Special Tool C-4212-F to push the front bushing out from the lower control arm. Remove the lower control arm assembly and place Bushing Remove, Special Tool 6756 and Bushing Receiver, Special Tool C-4366-2 on the Special Tool C-4212-F, making sure Special Tool C-4366-2 is square. Screw in the Remover/Installer Special Tool C-4212-F to push the rear bushing away from the lower control arm. Take the steps again by separating the lower control arm, placing Bushing Remover, Special Tool 6877 and Bushing Receiver, Special Tool 6876 into the Special Tool C-4212-F and making sure Special Tool 6876 is square with the lower control arm and that Special Tool 6877 fits on the clevis bushing. After that, loosen the screw on Remover/Installer Special Tool C-4212-F and press the clevis bushing out of the lower control arm.
