How to Maintain and Fix a Muffler System on 2005 Chrysler Sebring?

In repairing the muffler pipe assembly, the assembly should be cooled, the vehicle raised and penetrating oil applied over the band clamp. Take out the strap that is on the ground, loosen the clamp and remove the assembly. Always use original parts to replace, and then reassemble and assure proper alignment and clearance. Lastly, inspect and re-adjust leaks.
