How to Maintain the Downstream Oxygen Sensor on 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?

Before servicing the downstream oxygen sensor, remove the negative battery cable and lift and support the vehicle. After that, unplug the electrical connector from the sensor. Use the Snap-Onya YA8875 or another socket to get the sensor out. After removing the threads, clean them using an 18 mm X 1.5 + 6E tap. Should you reinstall the original sensor, coat the threads with either Loctite 771 - 64 anti-seize compound or something similar. The oxygen sensor is found by the side of the catalytic converter and since the threads of a new sensor are already coated with anti-seize, no extra compound should be applied. Insert the new sensor and secure it at 27 N.m (20 ft. lbs.), then link the electrical connector once again. After that, raise the vehicle, put the negative battery cable in place and secure it.
