How to service Air Bag Sensors Mounted on the B-Pillar on 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?

First, open the hood and take off the battery negative cable so that you know it's safe after two minutes have passed for the system reserve capacitor to discharge. Take away the B-pillar's lower trim on the other side, unplug the electrical end attached to the sensor and now unscrew the four bracket screws for the sensor. Get rid of the impact sensor from your car. Install the sensor bracket in your vehicle and attach it with four retaining screws, holding it at 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.). Attach the electrical connector and then install the B-pillar lower trim back into position. You should not connect the negative cable of the battery until the system test has been carried out to prevent personal injury or death. Always make sure everything is working well and check the engine before you close the hood.
