To fix the 2.4L engine starter motor, a hood should be opened, disconnect the battery negative cable, and take out the solenoid and B+ wires. Removal of the starter occurs by removing its bolts. To install, simply screw on the starter, reattach the wires and lastly reattach the battery cable just to confirm.
