How to Service and Repair a Trunk Lid Latch on 2005 Dodge Neon?

In order to fix the trunk latch, open the decklid and pull out the latch bolts. Detach the remote release cable and ajar switch connector and remove the latch. To install, reconnect the cables, install the new latch, and use bolts to secure and make sure that it is put in position before closing the decklid.
