How to Service a Steering Column Cover on 2005 Dodge Ram 2500?

The first step in servicing the steering column opening cover is to take out the two screws that are holding the cover to the instrument panel at the bottom. Afterward, C-4755 or an equivalent trim stick is used to detach the top cover's retainer clips and take away the cover. While the steering column opening cover is in place in the instrument panel, secure it by fully inserting the two upper retainer clips. To finish, attach the two screws to hold the cover in place, tightening them until they reach 2.2 N.m (20 in.lbs.).
