How to Service and Repair a Front Door Latch Assembly on 2005 Dodge Stratus?

In order to fix the front door latch, the door trim and watershield must be removed and raise the glass. Detach the lock and latch rods, and put the latch back in, and the new one. Re-attach all parts, re-adjust the latch and check it is working then re-install the trim and water dam.
