How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2006 Dodge Stratus?

Opening the door glass and taking out the rear door panel is the way to start repairing the rear door latch. Then, take out the lower rear run channel and let the connecting rods go free from the door latch. Following that, free the linkage rod from the latch and take out the screws holding the latch to the door end frame so you can detach the latch from the door. To install the door, place the latch correctly and use the screws to attach it to the end frame of the door. Put the linkage rods into place on the latch and fasten the clips that secure them to the door latch. Also, put in the rear run channel from below, remove the door glass and then fit the rear door trim panel. After opening the door, always make sure the latch is locked before you close it, so the door stays open for you later.
