2005 Dodge Stratus Relay Block Parts and Q&A
Q: How is a Faulty Relay Block Serviced and Replaced in a Power Distribution Center on 2005 Dodge Stratus?
A: Since the Power Distribution Center is joined with the headlamp/dash wire harness, if any problem or damage occurs in any internal part or housing, the whole unit must be exchanged. Separate the negative battery cable and then take off the Air Inlet System housing, as well as the resonator. Separate all wire harness connector pins and remove the ground eyelets from the body and chassis means of fixation using the screws or clamps as necessary. Separate the engine compartment harness from the retainers attached to the car body and chassis and then remove the nut keeping the PDC installed in its bracket. Drive the car out of the space and observe the engine compartment, then take the PDC and wire harness as a unit with care. During installation, place the PDC in the engine compartment and insure that its slots line up with the blades on the bracket, then fit the mounting nut onto the PDC. Route the cable connection through the engine compartment, clamping each harness retainer to the place provided in the vehicle body and chassis components. Secure each ground eyelet to the body and chassis using the fasteners, plug in each connector, after that, put the negative cable on the battery.
