2006 Dodge Stratus Relay Block Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service the Relay Block and Body Control Module on 2006 Dodge Stratus?
A: Check safety for the Junction Block and Body Control Module first by disconnecting the battery negative remote cable from the remote terminal on the left shock tower. Remember to do this on vehicles with air bags to make sure they don't deploy accidentally. Begin with removal of the end cap from the driver's door, then the center bezel, instrument cluster hood and silencer after that. After that, disconnect the connectors from the Junction Block and unscrew the three mounting screws. Remove the wire connectors for the BCM from their sockets and take out the Junction Block/BCM unit from the vehicle. Screw off the BCM from the Junction Block once all other components are removed and then unplug it. When installing the BCM, assemble the Junction Block onto it and fasten the BCM with the attaching screws, then reinstall the whole unit into your vehicle. Attach the wires from the BCM to each other, secure the Junction Block with its bolts and connect the wires back into the connectors. Put the silencer, instrument cluster hood, center bezel and end cap back, then link the battery negative cable back to the vehicle.
