  A: Before servicing or repairing the cruise control switch, first disconnect the negative battery cable to keep yourself safe. Following, remove the steering wheel and the Clock Spring and then remove the lower instrument panel. Release the first screw holding the speed control switch to the multifunction switch and then step away from all the wiring and electrical connections to the steering column. After the column is fitted, hook up the wiring to it and the connectors on the steering column. Place screw 1 into the secure hole and close the speed switch to the multifunction switch. Afterward, reinstall the lower instrument panel, Clock Spring and steering wheel. Lastly, fasten the copper end of the negative battery wire to the battery.
