  A: The first thing to do is lift the car on a hoist and remove the cover over the accessory drive belt. Be sure to hold onto the drive belt tensioner when releasing it, because it might snap back and be risky for both you and the wagon. Put a wrench on the tensioner lug, turn the tensioner counterclockwise and then take off the drive belt. Following removal, place the tensioner so it is not applying any force. Before putting on a new drive belt, make sure the grooves inside the belt pulley are free of oil, grease and coolants by cleaning them.
