How Does Wheelhouse Assist in Servicing the Front Fender Liner on 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

First, put the vehicle on stands and then remove the front wheel from the side you want to service. Then, remove the push-pin fasteners from the front wheelhouse splash shield both ahead and behind the suspension and then remove the screws attaching it to the front fender and pull the splash shield loose. Place the front wheelhouse splash shield back onto the vehicle and use screws to secure it to the front fender. Mount the push-pin fasteners to the frame rail behind and in front of the suspension, set the front wheel in place and bring the vehicle back down.
