2006 Chrysler Sebring Fuse Box Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service the Fuse Box and Body Control Module on 2006 Chrysler Sebring?
A: On ABS cars with air bags, unplug the negative battery cable connected to the left shock tower remote terminal. With the front driver's door open, remove the end cap, the center bezel, the hood on the instrument cluster and the silencer. Detach the wire harness connectors from the Junction Block and get rid of the three screws that hold it in place. After that, disconnect the wires from the BCM and then take out the Junction Block/BCM assembly from under the hood. After taking out the BCM, lift it out from the Junction Block by unscrewing the BCM attaching screws. To install, link the BCM to the Junction Block and hold it in place with attaching screws. Confirm that the Junction Block/BCM is back in the vehicle, attached the BCM wire connections and snap the Junction Block into place with the screws provided. Attach the wire harness connectors to the Junction Block and then put the silencer, instrument cluster hood, center bezel and end cap back in place. In the end, reattach the bare end of the battery to the negative cable.
