2005 Chrysler Sebring Fuse Box Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service the Fuse Box and Body Control Module on 2005 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Always disconnect the negative battery cable from the remote terminal on the left shock tower before starting service on the Junction Block and Body Control Module, if your vehicle uses air bags. Take out the end cap by opening the front driver's door, after that remove the center bezel, instrument cluster hood and silencer. Separate the wires from the Junction Block and then take out the three holding screws. Then, come unplug the wires from the BCM connector and take out the Junction Block/BCM from the vehicle. Once this is done, take out the screws that hold the BCM and take away the BCM from the Junction Block. When installing, join the BCM to the Junction Block and hold it with the offered screws. Fit the Junction Block/BCM into the vehicle, attach all BMC wire connectors and fix the Junction Block with its screws. Plug the connector parts back into the Junction Block and install the silencer, instrument cluster hood, center bezel and end cap. In the end, reattach the battery's negative connection.
