2006 Chrysler Sebring Thermostat Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain Your Thermostat for Optimal Engine Coolant Performance on 2006 Chrysler Sebring?
A: To perform engine coolant thermostat service, check that the cooling system is cool so you don't get burned and then remove some coolant from it after the level falls below the thermostat. Loosen the hoses at the coolant outlet connector and take out any bolts connecting the coolant outlet connector. After that stage, remove the coolant outlet connector as well as the thermostat. When putting in the thermostat, clear the coolant outlet surfaces, place the new assembly in it and make sure both the air bleed and the notch are lined up. After that, put the coolant outlet connector on the thermostat housing and tighten its bolts to 12.5 Nm (110 inch lbs.). Unite the hoses to the point where they were before and fill up the cooling system.
