How to Service and Repair the Right Engine Mount on 2006 Chrysler Town & Country?

You should first remove the air cleaner lid, then clean the air hose from the throttle body and remove the air cleaner itself and the housing to service the right engine mount. Begin by taking the make-up air hose off the cylinder head cover and then raise the engine assembly gently so it is not secured to the engine mount on the right. Then take off the support clips holding the harness to the engine mount bracket, unbolt the engine mount from the frame rail and remove the bolts on the engine side of the bracket. Once you take out the right engine mount, if the engine bracket is also removed, put it back in place and fasten the bolts to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.). Optimal positioning of the engine mount and putting on the frame rail including its manual bolts with a tightening force of 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.), after which the engine bracket bolts are installed. Attach the electrical harness clips to the engine mount bracket, lift the jack out from below the engine, put the make-up air hose back on the cylinder head cover and then assemble the air cleaner housing and element, the lid and clean air tube on the throttle body.
