How to Service and Repair a Wiper Motor on 2006 Dodge Caravan?

To work on the front wiper motor, take out the four backwall bolts and the four brace nuts, separate the linkage from the wiper module and finally unplug the wires from the back of the motor. After that, separate the wiper linkage from the motor crank without emptying the motor and unscrew the bolts connecting the motor to detach it. Set the wiper module on a clean surface and put the wiper linkage into the wiper unit. Attach the wiper connector to each end of the wiper motor, put the wiper module into its correct place in the engine compartment and plug the wiper module wire connector into the engine wire harness. After that, fasten the four backwall bolts and the four brace nuts to hold the wiper module, turn the wiper motor OFF and observe it parks right when the switch is turned off.
