How to Effectively Service and Repair a Starter Motor on 2006 Dodge Ram 1500?

In order to fix the starter motor, unconnect the negative battery wire and lift the vehicle. Unscrew the required bolts to access, disconnect the battery positive cable of the solenoid. Install the starter motor again, the solenoid wire and tighten all the connections and then lower the vehicle and reconnect the battery cable.
