How to Maintain a Shock Absorber on 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

Before working on the shock absorber, you should raise and securely hold the vehicle. Loosen the bolt on the shock absorber, pop open the clip of the ALB lever on the left and pull the ALB lever off the upper shock bolt. After that, unbolt the shock absorber holding bolt from the frame and take out the shock absorber. For installation, set the shock absorber in its place and secure it with the frame bolt, tightening for SRW to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.) and for DRW to 140 Nm (103 ft. lbs.). Fix the ALB lever to the upper stud on the left-hand side, then replace the clip on the top bolt. After that, attach the shock absorber bolt to the rear axle and secure it with 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.) for M12X1.5 bolt or 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) for M14X1.5 bolt and don't forget to lower the vehicle.
