How to Maintain a Rear Wheel Speed Sensor on 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

First, lift and secure the vehicle and afterwards, take the rear wheels off the axle. Break the sensor wire connector and pull the wheel speed connector out of its mounting hole in the axle supporting tube. Should you need to replace the sensor, remove the wheel speed sensor wire from the cable and discard or remove any damaged clamping sleeve fitted to the wheel. When installing, put the separate sensor cables into shrink-fit sleeves and shrink them onto the cable tubing, if you are going to replace the sensor. When the vehicle is moved, the sensor will adjust itself inside the axle tube if it is installed properly. After this, install the rear wheels and bring the car back down to the ground.
