How to Maintain a Heater Core on 2006 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

To service the heater core, turn off the airbag system by disconnecting the battery. Remove the heater housing and HVAC housing to get to the heater core. Pull it out and remove retaining bolts if necessary and throw away seals. On replacing the core, install new O-rings, re-assemble and flush the cooling system.
