2006 Dodge Sprinter 3500 Blend Door Actuator Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service the Blend Door Actuator on 2006 Dodge Sprinter 3500?
A: You should first disconnect the negative battery cable when servicing the recirculation door actuator. After that, take out the wire harness connector and unplug the vacuum line from the actuator. Unscrew the two bolts holding the actuator to the ventilation housing, disconnect the actuator shaft from its pivot lever on the recirculation door and then remove the actuator from the car. First, attach the actuator shaft to the recirculation door pivot lever and then put the two screws into the ventilation housing, tightening them until they reach 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.). Attach the connector for the suction line and the wire harness to the actuator and then link the battery negative cable.
