  A: Before servicing the air cleaner, remove the negative battery cable and the electrical connector for the inlet air temperature sensor. After that, remove the fresh air makeup hose from the opening of the throttle body and unplug the hose from the PCV valve on the intake manifold. Loose the clamp around the hose at the throttle body inlet and take out the hose from the throttle body. Depress the locking tabs at both ends to pull out the air inlet hose and then take out the throttle body air inlet hose and air cleaner unit. Take the air filter off of the throttle body air inlet hose. For installation, clean out anything inside the housing and then fit the air filter on the air inlet hose below the throttle body. Attach the throttle body air inlet hose to the air cleaner housing, so it snaps firmly in place. Fit the hose onto the throttle body and tighten the hose clamp once again. First, attach the PCV hose to the intake manifold, then the fresh air makeup hose and lastly the inlet air temperature sensor electrical connector. After that, reattach the negative battery cable.
