How to Maintain and Fix a Door Handle on 2006 Dodge Stratus?

Before working on the front door exterior handle, lift off the trim panel and raise the door glass. If it's not possible to open the door, lift out the water dam and then pull apart the door latching system. Then, get rid of the nuts that join the door handle to the outer part of the door and take out the door handle. For installation, place the outside door handle onto the door and bolster it with the nuts to fix it to the outer door panel. Attach the rod on the door latch, slot the water dam back in and secure the door trim panel. Lastly, operate the handle and modify the door latch if needed.
