2006 Dodge Stratus Fuse Box Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service a Fuse Box and Its Connected Wire Harness on 2006 Dodge Stratus?
A: Whenever there is a fault inside the Power Distribution Center or its housing, the entire unit and headlamp/dash wire harness must be replaced. Disconnect the cable from the battery negative side first and thereafter, take out the air inlet system unit and its housing. Cut off the plastic caps covering each wire harness connector. Pull the fasteners that tied the wire harness ground eyelets to the vehicle body and chassis, then remove all of the ground eyelets. Disconnect the wires holding the engine compartment wire harness to the body and chassis and remove the nut that fixes the PDC to its bracket. Then, take out the PDC and wire harness as one set from the engine compartment. For fitting, place the PDC in the engine compartment, align both sets of holes and tighten on the mounting nut. Let the wire harness run from the PDC under the engine compartment, stopping to attach each harness retainer to the purpose-made mounting points. Set the ground eyelets of the engine compartment wire harnesses to the vehicle body and chassis, attach each connector and link the battery negative cable lastly.
