How to Service a Tail Light on 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To check the tail lamp, deconnect battery negative cable. Take off the screws that connect the rear lamp unit, pop it out of the grommets and unplug the wire harness. To install, reconnect the wire harness, position the lamp, install it with screws and reconnect the battery cable.
