2006 Jeep Wrangler Battery Tray Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain a Battery Tray on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Removing the battery and the related sensor is the first thing you should do when servicing the battery tray. After that, take off the four screws with washers that connect the battery tray to the reinforcement between the dash panel and the inner panel of the front wheelhouse near the engine. Before fixing the battery tray, make sure to clean and examine it first and then put it in the reinforcement in the engine bay. Attach the battery tray by placing and securing the four screws with washers to 22.6 N.m (200 in. lbs.) of tension. Then, put the battery temperature sensor onto the battery tray and place the battery on the tray.
