How to Maintain and Fix a Tailgate Handle on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?

In order to repair or service the tailgate handle, take out the tailgate latch. Take off the screws that hold the handle, and then part the handle and seal. To reinstall, place the seal and handle into the tailgate, screw the handle screws in correctly and lastly screw the latch back on.
