2007 Chrysler 300 Brake Disc Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Replace a Brake Disc on 2007 Chrysler 300?
A: You should start by raising the back of the vehicle, then remove the three wheel mounting nuts and the tire and wheel assembly to take out and replace the brake disc. In a few cases, pulling the rear of the caliper gently and outward may help make enough room for the shoes and rotor to separate from the caliper so that it can be taken off the knuckle. After that, unfasten both bolts keeping the disc brake caliper adapter to the knuckle, then lift out the disc brake caliper and adapter together from the knuckle, making sure it does not drag on the brake hose as you hang it out of the way with a wire or bungee cord. Afterward, disconnect any leftover clips holding the brake rotor to the wheel mounting studs and slide the brake rotor off the wheel's hub and bearing.
