How to Service and Repair a Control Arm with a Spring Link on 2007 Chrysler 300?

Before starting any services, lift and support the vehicle and then take out the rear spring. If you're dealing with the right spring link, cut the headlamp leveling sensor link from the spring link. After that, take out the spring link-to-knuckle nut and bolt. Always use Guide 9361-2 when tapping the sleeve against the knuckle to help keep Tap 9361-1 straight as you work. Tap the half-hole in the sleeve by using Place Guide 9361-2 against the bushing and a Tap of the correct handle. As you work, please stop to clean out any remaining burrs in the hole, keep the Tap well oiled and back tap using the suitable tap. Do not forget to lube the Bolt 9361-3 threaded section before using Special Tool 9361. Install parts Bolt 9361-3, Nut, Spherical Washer, Thrust Bearing, the Sleeve and this part using the dots. While putting in the thrust bearing, fix the hard side to the nut and attach the outer cage on the fixed part of the Remover. Always put the correct Sleeve onto the Remover tool to get Tool-to-Knuckle contact correct; note that the RWD sleeve can be used on both knuckles, but AWD knuckles have specific left or right side sleeves. Attach Thread Remover Bolt 9361-3 into the tapped knuckle sleeve, align the Nut with the angled end of the sleeve and the knuckle face and rotate Nut again to remove the knuckle sleeve. After the injector is installed, you should toss out the old knuckle sleeve and fit a new one instead. After all, disconnect the spring link from the frame crossmember by removing the bolt and nut and then take out the spring link.
