How to Remove an Automatic Transmission Shifter on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?

The first thing to do to remove the A/T shifter is to remove the steering column cover and reinforcement. Unscrew the tilt lever knob and column shroud and dispose of the brake light switch. Reduce the height of the column, disconnects tow/haul switch and shift cable, SKIM remover and gear shift lever, blocker pin.
