The first thing to do when installing an Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor for a 4.7L V-8 is to examine the condition of the sensor's O-ring. Dip a cotton pad into isopropyl alcohol and clean the sensor mounting hole, then put the sensor into the base and turn it clockwise until it goes past the release tab.
