How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable for Rear on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?

First, you should raise and support the car and then make sure to lockout the rear park brake cable before any repairs. Following this, turn the adjustment nut counterclockwise and disconnect the rear park brake cable from the middle park brake cable. Press the tabs along the cable end fitting onto the frame bracket and pass the cable through the bracket. First, take off the park brake cable from behind the rotor assembly and then push down on both tabs for both of the cable ends on the brake cable support plate. After everything else, get rid of the brake cable support plates.
