How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable on 2008 Chrysler Aspen?

When fixing or repairing the rear park brake cable, lift the vehicle first and securely block the parking brake cable. Following that, open the cable adjuster's nut and disconnect the end of the rear park brake cable from the intermediate cable. Pull the cable between the fitting and the frame mount bracket using the cable end compressor. Come to the back side of the rotor assembly; release the park brake cable and then press the cable tabs down at the brake cable support plate. After that, take out the brake cable from the support plates.
