2007 Chrysler Aspen Seat Motor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Seat Motor on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?
A: The first step in fixing or repairing the power seat motor is to remove and isolate the battery's negative cable. First, take off the seat that isn't working. After that, remove the seat cushion and pan. Separate the motor from the electrical supply and unscrew everything holding the motor to the seat adjuster before removing it. Do not tamper with an active height adjust motor if, for any reason, the power seat is not entirely raised and the support assembly is fixed by tension from the spring. After checking the height adjust motor is okay, take the power seat to the very top before you remove the battery. After that, remove the seat from its frame, then the cushion and pan. First, loosen the connector to the motor's electrical wiring, remove the fasteners holding the motor to the seat adjuster, take out the screw and washer from the shaft and lastly remove the motor itself.
