2007 Chrysler Aspen Thermostat Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace the Thermostat on a 3.7L or 4.7L Engine on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?
A: Only replace the thermostat with a matching model for the 3.7L or 4.7L engine. First, take out the negative battery cable at the battery and then drain the cooling system. Power the vehicle onto a hoist, then remove the shield around the 4.7L engine only. Now, take out the radiator hose clamp under the housing and disconnect the lower radiator hose as well. Once you have drained the system, get rid of the mounting bolts, thermostat housing and the thermostat.
