How to Service and Repair an A/C Expansion Valve on 2007 Chrysler Crossfire?

Before doing anything with the expansion valve, evacuate all refrigerant from the system. After that, eliminate nut 1 and free up the pressure hoses. After that, loosen screws 2 and pull off the expansion valve 3 from the pressure lines.
