How to Service and Repair a Belt Tensioner on a 2.0L/2.4L Engine on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Pull the belt from the power steering cooler or air conditioner compressor before servicing the drive belt tensioner. After that, lift out tensioner mounting bolt 2 and remove tensioner assembly 3. If you change the pulley, remove the tensioner pulley as well.
