2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Drain Plug Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Drain Plug on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: You must drain the cooling system in order to service or repair the radiator drain plug. After that, rotate the draincock counterclockwise until you hear it stop, then make one short movement clockwise. Take the draincock (2) out of the bottom of the radiator tank. Your radiator or draincock might be damaged by tightening them with pliers, so you should try to avoid this method. We do not need to take out the draincock during normal coolant drainage.
