How to Install a Liftgate Hinge on 2007 Chrysler Sebring?

Align by placing the hinge in the outline marked on the quarter panel trough and in the decklid and position the hinge in the hole in the trunk of liftgate (Fig. 4). Install the bolts attaching the hinge to the quarter panel trough and loosely instal them. Next, lift the decklid onto a padded block and bolt the hinges to the decklid and tighten these hinges to 23NM (17 ft. lbs.) torque. Next attach the prop-rod to the mounting studs and install the gas prop-rod lock caps. Finally pull out the padded block sandwiched between the deck panel and decklid and close the decklid.
