How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2007 Chrysler Sebring?

Servicing the rear door latch involves removing the trim panel from the area. After that, press out the latch in the glass to disconnect it from the regulator. Unscrew the two rod link and bolt door latch fasteners and then the eight screws that hold the carrier plate. Then carefully slide the plate outwards. Remove the electrical cable from the door lock actuator and take out the carrier plate from the door. Be sure to move the power window motor, window regulator, door latch with power door lock actuator if you have it, inside door handle and cable and manual door lock rod.
