2007 Chrysler Sebring Torque Converter Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Torque Converter on 2007 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Before servicing or repairing the torque converter, you should first take out the transmission and converter from the car. Put a drain pan below the housing of the converter in the transmission. Make sure the torque converter is well supported on the lifting device or work surface, since once it's removed, the unit will become uneven due to its weight. Advance the torque converter a little further to remove the center hub from under the oil pump and then divorce the torque converter from the transmission.
