How to Service and Repair a Door Latch Assembly for Sliding Doors on 2007 Dodge Caravan?

Before servicing or repairing the sliding door hold-open latch, open the sliding door and take out the sliding door sill plate. Once that is done, take out the nuts joining the hold-open latch to the lower end of the roller arm. After that, pull the hold-open latch off the lower arm and take the cable off it. Remove the easy-to-grab latch from the inside of the vehicle.
