  A: Firstly, raise the door glass and take off the watershield at the front of the door to reach the outside handle. You should reach into the hole toward the back of the inner door panel and remove the Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) switch connector from the door harness. Remove the fasteners that hold the VTSS switch harness to the inner door reinforcement bar if so equipped. After that, loosen the clip on the door latch linkage and pull it out from the latch. After that, take the clip away from the door lock arm and lift the lock arm off the latch. Take out the nuts that hold the outside door handle to the door and get rid of the outside handle. Untie the clip connecting the lock cylinder to the outside handle and take the lock cylinder out of the door handle.
