  • Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Starter Motor for a 2.4L Engine on 2007 Dodge Caravan?
    A: If fixing or servicing the starter motor, open the hood after pulling on the hood latch. First, release the negative battery cable to remove it from the negative post and afterward remove the wire connector from the solenoid terminal. Get rid of the nut attaching the B+ wire to the terminal and unhook the solenoid and B+ wires from their connections on the starter terminals. After that, remove the lower bolt, then the upper bolt and finally the ground wire. Take the starter down from its postition.
