  • Q: How to Remove and Replace a Brake Master Cylinder on 2007 Dodge Durango?
A: Place the prop rod on the brake pedal before you disconnect and replace the brake master cylinder to keep pressure inside the brake lines. After that, take off the reservoir's cap and drain the fluid into a container. Take out the electrical wire from the fluid level switch that controls the reservoir. After that, take off the reservoir mounting bolts and lift the reservoir upwards as well as to the side to remove it from the master cylinder. In the end, take out the old seals in the cylinder body.
