2007 Dodge Durango Intake Manifold Parts and Q&A
Q: How Is the Intake Manifold and Its Components Installed on 2007 Dodge Durango?
A: Start the intake manifold installation by putting the intake manifold seals in place and then place the manifold. Fasten the intake manifold with the specified retaining bolts, tightening them in order in torque to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.). Making certain that the throttle body is fully tightened will prevent damage that might create trouble with the throttle plate. Then, fit the O-ring to the throttle body and attach it to the intake manifold in place; secure the connection with 4 mounting bolts tightened to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Attach the electrical connector for the throttle body and then put in the fuel rail and EGR tube. Attach the MAP Sensor, CTS Sensor and ignition tower electrical cables while putting ignition coil towers in their place. Put on the retaining bolt of the top oil dipstick tube and install the Vapor purge hose, Brake boost hose and PCV hose. Give fluid to the cooling system, set up the assembly of the air inlet and resonator and finish by reattaching the cable from the negative battery terminal. Have the ETC Relearn function performed by using the scan tool.
